SOWERS only work 4 days a week. We have 3 day weekends. So, we decided to go to Hillsdale, Jonesville, and Jackson. In Hillsdale, we visited the Will Carton Poor House. Besides the poor house, which had been restored, they were having an annual festival which included tractors and old cards and booths with handmade crafts. Next, we visited the Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson. Last, we went to Jonesville to WalMart and to the Parlor, where we shared a junior banana split. Yes, it was huge. A junior is 4 scoops of ice cream the size of baseballs. A regular is 8 scoops. That would shave been monstrous.
