Morning devotions was on being servants. About 2/3rds of the time that servant is mentioned in the Bible, it is a reference to God. God doesn’t consider being a servant a demeaning term. In fact, Jesus said, “If you want to be great in God’s kingdom, learn to be a servant to all”.


It was raining this morning, so rather than working outside on the bridge, the men worked inside on shelving in the barn. There was a metal image of a cowboy embedded in the concrete in front of the barn that Grant liked. The women stayed in out of the cold and rain.
