Michindoh - Last Day of Project

Today was the last day of the SOWERS project at Michindoh. The women did not work today. Instead we did a tea for Michindoh on-site grandma Mary Jean. Nearly every day she visited and told us stories of days gone. We fell in love with her. She twisted her ankle and couldn't make it to meals. So, we decided we wanted to give her a tea party on the last day of the project.

The men did their last day of work on the trailer. They completed the skirting on the trailer. The rest of the project will have to be completed by the next SOWERS crew in September. They finished for the day at 3:30. We said our goodbyes and our group prayer for travel safety and were on the road by 4pm. Our destination was a campground in St. Clair, north of Detroit.

The girls were on an owl flight and we need to be there to pick them up at 9am on Sat.
